Revitalizing the village core

In progress

At the beginning of 2022, the Municipality, assisted by Rues principales, launched a process of reflection and consultation to devise a plan to revitalize the center of our municipality, which we like to call our village core. Business people, residents of the area, and other community members also contributed to the planning process through an advisory committee that met several times between January and June 2022.

The consultation report and revitalization plan were submitted to the municipal council last October. Council studied the contents of the plan. It contains several recommendations and suggestions; some elements are already in the works. The municipal council has not formally committed to carrying out all the elements of the plan but plans to complete most of the projects within a ten-year timeframe.

You can consult the report by clicking here (available only in French).
