Library

Renovation work took place at the library in 2023. As part of the municipality's three-year capital investment program, the council authorized investments of nearly $250,000 to make various improvements to the existing library to enhance the user experience and make it a more attractive venue. The work involved reinforcing the floor structure, knocking down certain walls and creating an administrative office.

Council also continues to reflect on longer-term needs without ruling out the possibility of going ahead with a new library project, but subject to taking the time to study the question properly.
